starving artist.
I'm finally understanding the phrase "starving artist..." Got my paycheck yesterday, and after dispersing some money for gas, some for groceries, some for my credit card, I'm left with just enough to get my film from my Diana Mini developed. Not to mention I'm out of white paint, yellow paint, and canvas. Need pearls, beads, lace, and wall paper for my next project - we'll see if this ever happens... tangent over.
On a happier note - this is the roll of film I got developed. Some stragglers from Chicago. Enjoi.

Chicago
Took a lovely trip to Chicago with Niklas, saw the Shedd Aquarium, Art museum, and the zoo. Not to mention ate the most delish meals ever. Some pics - Enjoi.

Le Monstre
I have finally completed the painting I have been working on for my friends, Brian and Dan - apologies for taking so long. This painting started as an 80's acid explosion of geometric pastel shapes, and I've spent the last few months painting over it as best I could. I was having problems with the texture of the painting beneath, hence the re-canvased surface. But I'm happy with the way it turned out.
For Brian and Dan - "Le Monstre"

It's officially spring! You know it's going to be a beautiful summer when I'm going to Devils Lake for the first time of the season in March. Brought my Diana Mini with me of course - Enjoi
